Playing Experience

I've played soccer since I was 3 years old and it's been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I played for multiple select travel teams including Kings Hammer FC and Ohio Elite Soccer Academy.I attended Turpin High School in Cincinnati and was a 4-year starter on the varsity soccer team in addition to making the All-Conference team.I was a multiple-time member of the Ohio South Olympic Development Program State Team (being one of 18 players selected out of a pool of thousands) and attended the prestigious ODP Regional Camp many times. After high school I was offered a scholarship to the University of Charleston in West Virginia (UCWV), one of the top soccer programs in the country, where I played for 4 years. UCWV is a multiple-time winner of the NCAA DII Men's Soccer National Championship. While attending UCWV, I briefly played with a USL team called West Virginia Chaos, before finally finding my way back to Cincinnati!

Training With Good Game Soccer Academy

My training sessions are tailored to each of my players' needs. I use match-like drills and games focused on generating as many touches on the ball as possible to build each player's technique, stamina, and confidence. The more quality touches a player gets, the more well-rounded they can become. This is a huge advantage of private training. Below are the general skills that I work on with each player in every 60 minute session.*I generally hold my training sessions at Batavia Township Community Park or Veterans Memorial Park

What are the benefits of private soccer training?

There are many benefits to training privately with a personal soccer coach. While training with a team is important for every athlete, it's hard to get the attention one needs in that kind of setting. Personal soccer trainers are able to put a player through an evaluation and discern what areas of the game they need to work on most.Training with a personal soccer coach is instrumental in reaching your soccer goals and is an essential part of training for those players who are striving to reach the next level of their game, whether that be playing on a club travel team, a high school varsity team, a college team, or even to play professionally. It is extremely encouraging to have a mentor to watch you closely and ensure you are doing something correctly. It is often hard for us to motivate ourselves to improve our game, and a personal soccer trainer provides great accountability to players which is a huge asset in improving one's confidence and skills.
